I am amazed at the amount of the Browns fans that don't know about or remember this glorious flick....
MASTERS OF THE GRIDIRON (IMDB entry)
It was like Conan starring members of the 1985 Cleveland Browns.... in other words THE GREATEST FUCKING MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.
I've got a buddy that has a copy and I have a glorious poster of it, but other than that I can't wait for it to come out on DVD or Blu-ray so I can finally have my own personal copy (well, functional copy)....
the only real drawback for this movie is the fact that there is no Messiah in it and thus the only QB that appears is Pagel..... still his star power might have over-powered the scenery and he allowed for the other players to have their moment in the sun and showcase their acting prowess....
BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP AT THE ALTAR OF KOSAR....
I still want Bernie as the President of Operations for the Browns... ideally the owner and coach as well.... HELP US BERNIE, YOU'RE OUR ONLY HOPE!!!
(PS- Did You Know? "The Altar of Kosar" was an alternate name for this site... and actually still is a remote possibility if God shines hit light upon us and Hughes is traded before the trading deadline... also another tasty tidbit is that the alternate byline was "Grammar of a Second Grader, but Swearing at the Level of a Seventh".... an addendum to this is that reading some of these posts is brutal and makes my head hurt.... whether or not we take the time or effort to fix this is another story.... but at least we acknowledged it... so why don't you brush your teeth with some dog shit)
