previous post and "pop art"....

I should explain my previous post more fully.... the artwork is influenced by Warhol in much the same way as any rock band right now is influenced by Led Zeppelin.... a more immediate applicable influence would be Shepherd Fairey of OBEY Giant fame.... here's his website..... you might recognize his work from advertising campaigns and clothing lines.... here's how his thing got started below, it's pretty interesting; but my feeling lately he has moved more towards merchandising, but then again that could be the point and another layer of the art also....

Going through his page a good example of his work that you've probably seen is the "Walk The Line" poster....
